New consumer dispute resolution 

From 1 October, solicitors will need to comply with regulations bringing in the EU Directive on consumer alternative dispute resolution. On 10 September, we updated our guidance for firms following the Legal Ombudsman’s decision to withdraw its application to become an approved ADR provider.
