KPMG hires lawyers to help with probe
KPMG has appointed C&H Jefferson to help it with an investigation into four senior partners at the firm’s Belfast offices who were arrested on Thursday. HMRC raided KPMG’s offices last week as part of a probe into Jeap, a property investment company the four may have been using to evade tax.
The firm aims to give its clients the benefit of long experience, which is considerable bearing in mind the fact that all of the partners have been in practice in Northern Ireland for over twenty or more years.
