Siblings fight over father’s offshore fund
A brother and sister are battling over a £3.2m fund set up by their father and held in Liechtenstein in order to protect the cash from a “repetition of the Holocaust”. David Hamilton left a £4.5m estate in addition to the assets held by the Rainbow Foundation, but Alan Hamilton claims he should have received an equal amount to his sister Carolyn, who was bequeathed £1.1m more than him from the Foundation. Alan Hamilton also said his father was a tax dodger, rather than afraid history would repeat itself.
